5th times a charm

I raced the Chile Challenge at Angelfire, NM again for the 5th Memorial day weekend in a row. I had a fun time even though it was raining. I finished 9th out of 9 or DFL. I've been eating really healthy and sleeping well but just haven't been riding enough. I am thinking a geared bike may be in my future. I love the singlespeed but the gears would have been nice going up that mountain.

Good Times

I got a good ride in this morning in the canyon. I rode up from the La Veta lot at about 7am and finished at about 8:30am. An hour and a half for the Chutes, Buckhorn, Jacks, and Twister is a pretty good time for me. I think I'll be good to go for Angelfire on Memorial day weekend.

First race of the year tomorrow

Sunday is the first race of the Sand Creek Series. I think I'm going to race Cat 2 rather than Singlespeed class. I'm feeling pretty out of shape but an hour and a half around Bear Creek Park shouldn't be a problem.
