Summer days

We had amazing weather in Colorado this weekend. I had an awesome ride in Monument yesterday morning. I explored the trails in Monument and found more amazing downhill runs coming down 715. After my ride I was eyeballing some long travel bikes online. I really love my HiFi but a Remedy or something else light with 6 inches of travel would be fun. After the ride we drove up to Denver to the Bronco game. It was a nice warm night and a fun time.

USA Pro Cycling Challenge and Bday weekend

This last weekend we had a BBQ to celebrate the new house and my Bday. We had people over Sunday for good food and drinks and then Sunday went to watch the big race. It was really impressive to see that many people turn out for a cycling event. Lots of bikes and riders moving around the city and lots of smiles. After the race Billy and I rode the trails in Monument while it rained in the distance. I've been riding the geared full suspension bike around my new home trails but still keep the singlespeed mentality. I did ride the singlespeed up and down the race course while watching the race.

Palmer Lake

It's been a long time since I posted on the blog. I'm now living in Palmer Lake, Colorado. I moved away from the incredible riding in Cheyenne Canyon to be next to more incredible riding in the Monument area. I rode all weekend and there seem to be endless trails and very few other users. So far country living is pretty nice.
