4 Hour Body update

I've followed the 4HB Slow Carb diet the last couple weeks while lifting and doing base training. So far I feel pretty good. My weight has stayed pretty steady but I feel like I've put on a lot of muscle and have helped my biking a bunch.
I had my body fat tested this week with calipers at the gym and came in at 151 lbs 8.82% body fat. My body fat goal is to stay under 8% so I'm pretty close. The caliper test has a 3-5% error but I feel like it's pretty accurate. My Tanita scale is way off for body fat but at least it gives an accurate weight.
I followed the strength training program in the 4 Hour body for a couple weeks but decided to just do the maximum strength program form Friel's Mountain Biker's Training Bible. The workouts are great and very relevant to being a stronger rider. So far I haven't missed any weight workouts and my Base training is going great this winter. Now I just have to stay motivated.

Four Hour Body experiment

I started doing stuctured base training this week. I got the Four Hour Body for Christmas and am experimenting with his diet and several of the workouts. The book is full of some really interesting info. I'm doing a strength training workout designed for track stars and also using the ab workout. There are really good workouts for building muscle and correcting imbalances but I want to keep it simple to start.

My starting weight was 154.5 on 1/1 and about 16.3% body fat according to my Tanita scale (not very accurate for bf%)

We'll see how this works.
